Brecknell Way, Long Awaited By-Pass Road, Dedicated to Montgomery Township
May 2024
Pugliese Properties is proud to announce that Brecknell Way, a key loop road, which is an integral part of the Montgomery Downtown Master Plan, has been completed and dedicated to the township.
The opening of Brecknell Way will help ease congestion along the Route 206 and Route 518 intersection.
Officials and partners proudly cut the ribbon on this new road; a connector of Route 206 and Route 518 that loops by the Village Walk shopping area west of Route 206.
Named for town historian Ursula Brecknell, the connector is a right-in/right-out-only roadway with sidewalks providing safe access to shops and restaurants for pedestrians, especially by those walking from nearby neighborhoods off Village and Vreeland Drives.
We are dedicated to providing the Township of Montgomery and its residents with an outstanding product that will provide improved amenities and exciting business opportunities for years to come. We appreciate Montgomery’s patience as we continue to make progress and look forward to delivering an improved downtown experience.
Mayor Neena Singh commented, “Montgomery has long planned for the creation of linkages to ease traffic along Route 206 on our southern end. It is a great day to see this road opened! There are other loop roads under construction nearby which will also alleviate traffic congestion at Routes 206 and 518.”
Developers Pugliese Properties and Sharbell Development Corporation were key collaborators with the Township on Brecknell Way, a long-anticipated traffic improvement project.
